CONCORD English Higher Secondary School is run by the CONCORD Educational Trust, established in the year 1988. The Trust comprises of a set of philanthropists and visionaries who foresaw the need and possibility of such a venture to do social service for our Nation, recognized by the Government of Kerala and follows the State Education Syllabus from Standard I-XII & K.G. The school is a healthy co educational institution with well-built infrastructure, amenities, safe neighbourhood, refreshing scenic environment surrounded by Nature. Our key purpose as a learning community is to “Reimagine what a school can be by cultivating a community of learners who positively influence their worlds.” Our school has a relaxed atmosphere and good outcomes at the same time. Children are keen on learning and keen on coming to school. The most common comment that visitors make is that it feels like an extended family. Value of education

CONCORD EHSS a Muslim Minority School, gives due importance to uphold the beliefs of other religions. For non-Muslims, moral values are parted through moral science classes. ‘unity in diversity’ or ‘oneness in Togetherness’ is instilled in each and every Concordian. Great leaders from all religions visit CONCORD on a regular basis and discourse the knowledge to create a spirit of unity among all groups. Our peaceful co-existence in society over the last Twenty-Seven years is an obvious proof for Communal Harmony.

CONCORD English Higher Secondary School is recognized by the Government of Kerala and follows the State Education Syllabus from Standard I-XII & K.G. MIDDLE SCHOOL

The most important goal during the middle school years is for your child to develop strong study habits, to continue to embrace learning, and to value education in general. The curriculum in middle school is comprehensive and balanced, focusing on the holistic development of every student. It lays emphasis on the integration of Science and Technology, relating Math to daily life and concept-based teaching in Social Science. Languages focus on enhancing students’ communication and creative skills, making them effective communicators and confident individuals. CONCORD English Higher Secondary School helps them with a well-balanced curriculum that encourages positive relationships and inspires self-confidence. By effectively answering the challenges of teaching adolescents, we prepare them for the rigors of high school and the challenges of life.

HIGH SCHOOL

At CONCORD, we provide high school education that helps students explore their interests and develop potential goals. High school education helps students with the necessary social, mental, and physical skills for a brighter future. High School Education is the perfect time for students to learn valuable skills. This is the culminating stage of secondary education wherein students are prepared for Senior School. Classroom teaching is complemented by laboratory work, audio-visual lessons and student-led research work. Seminars and workshops by professionals from various academic and vocational fields are arranged to help students narrow down their choices to the field they would like to pursue. Students are encouraged to participate in a host of co-curricular activities including elocution, debates, quizzes, essay writing and so on. We at CONCORD ensure that our High Schools offer the stepping stones to higher education and lucrative careers that can change the course of a student’s life.

HIGHER SECONDARY

CONCORD English Higher Secondary School ensures that students are better informed to select the subjects and streams of their choice and aptitude. Students in Higher Secondary school become more specialized in their studies with a focus on eventual career choices. Specialist teaching, therefore, increases to equip students for higher education and the professional world At the Higher Secondary level (Class XI & XII), the curriculum shifts its emphasis from general to core subject-focused specialized content. The concepts in different disciplines are dealt with in-depth and rigorously. This is a stage where students identify their subjects of interest for future learning and get a better understanding of their career path.

CURRENT STUDENTS

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (CCA)

Co-curricular Activity is an integral part of the curricular activities of a school and their proper organization needs just as much care and forethought as the organization of curricular activities. It is an instrument for drawing out the best potentialities of our children, to equip our young minds with the civic spirit, initiative and organizing skills to set up their own clubs, teams and activity groups. Our students participate in various competitions-District, state and National, bringing out the intrinsic and inborn talents in each and every one, mastering them in Taekwondo, Art and Craft, Yoga, Speech, Tailoring, Chess, Dance, Kalari, etc… CCA classes will be held every Wednesday and Thursday.
